Hello friends!
I hope you had a great weekend!
I was able to enjoy the last sun we are going to see around here for a while & I had some more time to craft and decorate for the spring!
Once again I played with my dollar stamp set….
{Can you tell I am having fun with it—I mean this is only my 4th project with this same crafty look!}
This time I made myself a simple canvas.
Nothing exciting, nothing extravagant, but a quote that I love.
And the simplicity that I love.
Just enough to give me a change for the spring.
For this project I just started with a blank canvas and used my trusty dollar section alphabet stamp set {I found mine at Michael’s craft store!} to write out the quote. I used just a plain black ink this time.
I didn’t worry about lining up the text, I just embraced the messy imperfect look of the words being uneven and the sentences and word placement being a bit random.

This is so simple but so pretty! I really love how it turned out!
I would love it if you would come link it up at my Pinworthy Projects Link Party.
Simple. Brilliant. Gorgeous.
Simply beautiful. Just love it.
Absoultely beautiful! perfect!

What a great mantel! Pinning!!
Very cute!!! I love how it turned out and I LOVE that stamp set!
Loved the message so much!
I love these projects! I must go out and get me some of those stamps …
I'm truly inspired!

Your project turned out great and looks like you had fun doing it!
So pretty! I have an alphabet stamp set but my kids have "lost" a few letters so I can't be counted on to make anything with real words on it!

I stood for a second looking at the word "droqs", even though I have read drops…
Really inspiring craft, beautiful quote and lovely final chimney look!

I love this – so simple – so chic – so easy
So many times, simplest is best!
I have these same stamps & LOVE them…they are perfect for so many things. I love how you used them on the canvas…and that gold frame, I'm drooling!
You know that I now have to rush off to Michael's for this stamp set! What a fun idea – and if anybody notices the mistake – politely take back the glass of lemonade you just gave them and ask them to leave immediately!!

I am SO loving not only your canvas, but your whole fireplace. The soft blues and worn paint really give it the casual, beachy look that I love
I think your canvas is perfect, even with the couple of "Q"s where "P"s should be. In fact, I think that adds even more character and charm to it
I need to pick up a set of alphabet stamps!

I have my stamps! I have my stamps! And all I want to do is stamp things!!!!
Mine are larger than yours (because I wanted the courier font) but it should work out for what I have in mind …
Linda
love love love that canvas!
This canvas is so sweet. Love your mantle. Everything is beautiful.

Just found your blog and love it! New follower too!
Perfect quote for spring, too, Jaime Lyn! Love this look (and the copy of Sea Glass on your mantle). Like a breath of fresh air!

Wow, pretty cool! Love it… can't find the word but it really doesn't matter! I think I know different lyrics than you have but yours is pretty neat, too.
Great craft! Thanks for sharing!
I love your canvas! I'm a new follower and would love for you to stop by my blog too. Have a great day!

So beautifully simple…I did take a second glance at the p in drop when I was reading, but it adds a bit of whimsy. The perfect little mantle upgrade.
