Happy Happy Monday my friends! And Happy almost 4th of July!
I had SUCH an amazingly relaxing weekend…. it is hard for me to get back into the swing of things!
BUT…..
I have a little motivation.
A new project…. along with, and on top of my ongoing projects….
this new project is totally and completely motivated by my blogging friends….
Cue the song “Need a little help from my friends” because yes, in the midst of everything….
I am taking on a challenge….
My laundry room!
Yes, I have some very motivating blogging friends who came up with a fun idea for a summer project.
Blogging without Borders - where I will take on a project that will stretch my limits and include some things that I have never done before.
And ooh yes this room surely will do all of the above!!!!
Yes, my laundry room NEEDS some help right now!
It is in its original state, and had become my husbands storage room for his tools…. which gives me ZERO room for actual USE and so I therefore put off doing laundry even more than usual—-is that EVEN POSSIBLE!?!?
are you thinking oooohhhh-BOYYYY yet?
Yes this room needs A LOT of work.
And it will stretch and press and push my limits to extremes…..
but at least my blog friends will be going through the same things over at their places….
so I won’t feel alone—right?!
SO, when it comes to a BIG project like this one what else am I to do, but to come up with a “Laundry List”?!?!
{Pun totally intended}
hahaha.
So, here we go! I will be back with updates every couple of weeks and you will have a brand new-ish laundry room in 8 weeks!!!
AND, please visit my friends who are blogging without borders today.

Oh, I am so excited to see how it all comes together! You will do awesome, no doubt!
Can’t wait to see the finished! What fun!!
I am sensing some natural light too? Do you even have a window. Mine is a cave. No window. Unless you counted the one that looked into the tool shed before Jim dry walled?
It’s a nice, spacious laundry room Jamie! I see some prettiness in it’s future =)
The plan seems good…Can’t wait to see the pictures of the finished project. I’m sure it will look nice like the other projects y’all have tackled.
Happy 4th- enjoy a nice BBQ/drink(s) and fireworks.
Good luck. Can’t wait to see your transformation.
This is a great space!! Look at all that storage. I am so excited about your project – can’t wait to see the progress.
A new wall?! Now that I want to see!! Here’s to making laundry more enjoyable (if that’s possible)!!
Kelly
Woo! You are jumping in head first! Excited to watch it all unfold!!
Yikes! I think that makeover is a NEED! Love your plans! It will be fabulous!
Sometimes we just need a little help (or nudge) from our friends.
Wishing you An Extraordinary Independence Day!
Holy cow. This post had me laughing. I use ANY excuse to postpone laundry so I’m with you on that. So much potential in that space for sure.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Another great challenge I’m looking forward to seeing the results of.
