Well, if you couldn’t tell that I have a lot going on in this post from my title, well, thennnn beware. :)
I am having such a great time decorating my house for fall. And since a few of you asked to see my favorite piece of furniture a while back when you caught a glimpse of it in this post, I thought I had better get it all decorated (it was on my fall decor checklist anyways) and show it off a little bit.
This my friends, is my buffet, in all of its crackly goodness. Which I happened to be lucky enough to inherit from my mother-in-law. And to say that I drooled over it before it showed up at my house…. well that may be an understatement.
I love this buffet, and I love to decorate it!
And this season as you may have noticed from my dining room decor that I shared last week, I am embracing……
hunting season in my fall decor…. (welllllll kind of). I actually just love the silhouettes of elk that I have seen all over both the blog world and the shopping world… BUT if my husband asks, please tell him that he owes me big time for being so thoughtful for including his loves in our decor!
The canvas was of course super simple to make (because if it wasn’t I probably wouldn’t do it–I get lazy like that). All I did was cut a piece of fabric, iron it, and cut a vinyl silhouette image with my cutting tool also called the silhouette (kind of confusing right) and then added paint. Next I just wrapped the fabric around a canvas that I already had and glued it!
Done. Simple!
and kind of cute right?!
Yes, I am digging this fall decor. And the great news is that it could really stick around beyond fall…. perhaps I will just add a red nose to the elk and he will become a Rudolph?!
I hope you are having a fabulous week friends!
ps I am linking up to a few of my favorite parties that you can find here!

LOVE that buffet!! And I think I need a Silhouette… maybe Santa will bring me one?
