DIY Fabric Holiday Gift Bags

I am always looking for a chance to craft for the Holiday, especially when it comes to holiday gifts.

And so it should come as no surprise that I LOVE being a little creative with my gift wrapping as well!

I mean what could be better and more simple for gift delivery than a simple DIY re-usable bag?!

And the best part about my Christmas gift bag crafting was that I had a chance to try out some new crafting supplies including Tulip Shimmer Sheets and Tulip Shimmer Paints and I LOVED them!!!!

Supplies needed:

Tulip Shimmer Sheets {any color}, Tulip Cordless Heat Setting Tool, Tulip Glam-it-Up Iron on Crystals, a fabric bag, scissors {or electric cutter} and an iron.

Step 1.  Cut out designs for your gift bags.  You can either trace and cut your design or use a cutter of your choice.  I used my silhouette cutting machine.

Step 2.  Next you place your cut image on the bag where you would like it to be and use a warm dry iron with a piece of cloth between your image and the bag put pressure on the area for 40 seconds.

Step 3.  Adhere Glam-it-Up iron on crystals on the bag around the design with the Tulip Cordless Heat Setting Tool.   This step takes around 5 seconds per crystal.

And there you have it a sweet and simple gift bag that will last for years to come!

Do you have creative gift wrapping ideas that you are planning on using this year?

AND, I still can’t believe how simple the Tulip Shimmer Sheets were to use I could literally think of hundreds of other ways to these during this holiday season and beyond!  Just think of the possibilities!

What would you use your Tulip Shimmer products for???  I would love to hear your ideas!!
