Sometimes the best home decor is free. I truly believe that you can make something out of nothing. And often times that just requires a piece of wood, and some paint! My project that I am sharing today is a great example of this! I literally used a scrap of wood that I had around the house to make my Deer Topography Sign!
Yep, that is right all I used for this project was: a scrap of wood, stain, paint, my alphabet stamps and my white ink. Oh and a I used a deer head silhouette that I had left over from this project!
I love adding quotes to my projects! I think I add a quote to just about every project I possibly can!
And in case you are wondering where this deer topography project is now hanging out in my house, well… it has a special spot on top of my favorite desk that I upcycled a few weeks back!
In fact I happened to use the same paint from the desk project for this project! So if you would like more paint information you can find it here!
Sweet and simple and meaningful all at the same time. And I can’t help but think that if our little baby bean happens to be a girl, this may look cute in the nursery!

Oh I love this project sooooooo much! You know I ordered some typography alphabet stamps with you in mind bc I always love how you use to them to stamp quotes and stuff on your projects. I just figured out what I want to do with them first but this is definately inspiring!
